Founded in 2018 by Sports Industry Career Coach, Adriene Bueno, we work with business professionals who are committed and serious about making a career pivot in sports. Our goal is to help you achieve results like the 100’s of job seekers we’ve helped land sports roles across leagues, teams, agencies, brands, media, and tech over the years.
Baller Careers was founded on the principle that with the right guidance and resources, talented business professionals – no matter their previous education, experience, or network – can land amazing jobs in the sports industry. We help job seekers through our dedicated career coaching services and online resources.

“From my experience as a kid playing youth sports at the YMCA to working at some of the biggest sports brands to now being a sports industry career coach, I’m proud to have created a career service that can reach sports business professionals everywhere.
Through my online services and free content, I help go-getters like you dream big and back it up with purposeful action to create real results.
One of the most common questions I’m asked is “How did you get started in all this?”
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved sports. I loved playing sports (especially basketball), but I surprisingly hated watching sports. For me, I was so drawn to actually being in the game that anything else bored me.
But once I reached I college, everything changed. I didn’t play ball at the next level (FYI – I’m only 5’2″). However, the moment I went to my first college football game I became obsessed with watching the game, so much so that watching the game wasn’t enough. Since I no longer could fill the void of playing the game, I needed to take my passion for sports to the next level and actually work in the industry.
I took on all opportunities I could get my hands on even if they seemed unconnected with my goal in sports: volunteering at youth flag football games, taking online courses to dominate interviews, creating and spearheading a sports broadcasting club, and frequently working for free to name a few.
